Soccer predictions for today Swansea – Newcastle
Swansea City takes Newcastle in a match from the fourth round of the English Premier League. The match is on Sunday at 3:00 pm at Liberty Stadium.

Things could not have looked worse for Swansea when they got to the start of the campaign. They made a terrible season in which they almost fell, and their best player, Gilfim Sigurdsson, was willing to leave the club at all costs. The Icelandic maestro eventually went to Everton for ? 50m, and leaving Fernando Iorrete on the last day of the transfer window was also not good news. Things, however, actually look much better for the “swans” to date. The team came back to striker Wilfred Bonnie, who was hired by Manchester City. The team attracted Las Palmas midfielder Roque Mesa, and the biggest transfer of Swansea is surely the lease of Portuguese talent Renato Sanchez from Bayern Munich. In his last match Swansea beat Crystal Palace 2-0 and has four points after three games. Paul Clement and his team have a lot of work to do, but their future looks much brighter than a few weeks ago.

Newcastle entered the new season, expecting to be level-topper and finish comfortably in the middle of the table in its first Premier League season after returning. So far, however, the performance of the “Sharks” is not very good. They managed to win their first points in the 3-0 victory over West Ham, but their defeat against Tottenham and Huddersfield showed that the team is not in the best shape at the moment.

In the upcoming game, Newcastle will be without striker Alexander Mitrovic, who is being punished. Swansea has strengthened with a lot of players, but it will surely take Sanchez and Bonnie’s time to get used to the situation in the current swan squad and it will take time for South Wales to start hitting, so we expect a few goals in this fight.
